Copyright and note concerning the use of images and texts
All photos and texts contained
on this site are the intellectual property of
France Demarbaix and are protected by Belgian
and International Copyright Law. What means that
any reproduction, publication or web use, even
partial, is prohibited without preliminary written
permisssion from the author and acquisition of
a licence. Downloading images and screenshot are
not allowed.
Contrary to a generally accepted
idea, the copy is prohibited even for a non-commercial
use. Only the photographer decides which use can
be made of her images. As professional, I will
prosecute any theft of my pictures. Professional
equipment and travels are expensive. If you want
to use my photos, it is normal that you take part
in these expenses. My images and my texts are
NOT free of rights but right managed.
Royalties and user licence
If you wish to use one of the
photos present on this site, please contact me
and tell me which use you intend to do, the format
you need, the number of specimens which will be
printed for newspapers, magazines, leaflet, calendars
or books. I will send you a price estimate based
on the official rates of Sabam (belgian reference).
Rates depend on a large number
of criteria that I cannot detail here. Most of
the photos are available in high resolution (minimum
6 million pixels). They will be provided in digital
format with licence of use authorizing the use
that you described me and could not be used outside
this agreed framework. All other rights are reserved.
Think of exposing me clearly your needs and intentions
at the time of your request to avoid any misunderstanding.
If a private individual or an
association wishes to publish one of my photos
on his non commercial website, a participation
of 35 € per photo is required as well as
the obligation to add the mention "©
Demarbaix France - www.photovoyage.org" on
the photo to announce that it is not royalty free.
The maximum format provided for the web is 600
X 400 pixels. If the photo is already put on line
on the website before my agreement, the price
will be doubled. Tripled if the copyright mention
has been removed or defaced.
Prints in large size for private
use
You have the possibility to order
posters for your private use. The photos are printed
on glossy paper by a professional lab. I personally
control the quality of printing and the colors
accuracy. Decreasing prices if you order several
photos at the same time.
A4 format / 20 X 30 cm : 45 €/photo
(shipping cost in Europe included)
A3 Format / 30 x 40 cm : 65 €/photo (shipping
cost in Europe included)
Of course, prints intended for
a private use cannot be reproduced nor published.
